Manifest
Updated

A manifest is the day's trip sheet, the ordered list of every run with its pickup time, passenger name, addresses, chauffeur and vehicle. Most operators work from two: tomorrow's, closed the evening before so chauffeurs know their first pickup, and today's, which changes until the last drop.
The manifest and the run board are the same data at different moments. The manifest is the plan; the board is the plan colliding with traffic. A chauffeur's manifest is the subset of runs assigned to them, and a customer-facing manifest (for a conference or a wedding) is the subset that belongs to one account.
Where a manifest goes wrong is at the date line. A trip picking up at 11:30 PM Eastern belongs on that day's sheet even though it is already tomorrow in UTC, and a Los Angeles pickup on a DCA to LAX itinerary belongs to the Pacific day. Sheets built in the wrong timezone put runs on the wrong page.
How liverybook handles it
The manifest in liverybook is the run board filtered to Today, Tomorrow or the next 24 hours, with the column visibility toggle trimming the 16 columns to what the shift needs. Every timestamp is stored in UTC and displayed in the leg's pickup timezone, and date boundaries follow the trip's timezone, so the 11:30 PM Eastern run stays on the right day. Each leg of a multi-leg trip appears as its own row in its own local time.
