liverybook vs Moovs

Updated Competitor facts checked

Both products drop the per-trip fee, so the choice comes down to what sits behind the subscription. liverybook wins on one ledger for dispatch, CRM and billing, a white-label portal at your own subdomain with guest checkout, an affiliate roster with an insurance compliance gate, per-seat pricing that does not tie you to a vehicle count, and per-leg timezones for multi-city work. Moovs wins today with a driver app on iOS and Android, built-in chat and SMS, instant card payouts and a free plan you can start on this afternoon. liverybook has no driver app, no SMS and no Stripe Connect yet, it is a younger product, and tenants are created by liverybook rather than self-serve.

How each one bills.

liverybook

liverybook is priced per office seat, and the tier follows monthly trip volume: $49 a seat up to 500 trips, $89 up to 5,000 and $149 above that, with 5 % off for annual billing. There is no per-trip fee and no vehicle count tied to the plan, and no setup fee on Starter or Professional; drivers and affiliate drivers are never seats.

Moovs

Moovs is a flat monthly subscription with no per-trip fee. The Free plan allows up to 10 rides a month with no time limit, Standard is $149 a month, Pro is $199 a month and Enterprise starts at $999 a month, with a $299 setup fee on Standard and Pro and card processing from 3% plus $0.30. A branded passenger app is listed as an add-on at $499 a month with a $1,000 setup fee, as of 29 October 2026.

An honest split.

Pick liverybook if

Pick liverybook if your office has two or more people working leads, trips and invoices and you want them in one system with one balance per account. It suits a black-car or combined fleet that farms out regularly, sells to corporate accounts on net terms, and can wait for the driver app.

Pick Moovs if

Pick Moovs if you need a driver app, passenger texting and card payouts this week, or if you are a one or two vehicle operator who wants to start on the free plan. Its pricing cards are sized by vehicle count, so it is a clean fit for a small fleet that is not growing an office.

Moovs and liverybook both sell a flat subscription with no per-trip fee, which makes this the closest comparison on the site. Moovs is priced by plan and sized by vehicle count, from a free plan to Enterprise at $999 a month, and ships with a driver app and SMS. liverybook is the operating system for ground transportation, priced per office seat, and it does not have a driver app or SMS yet. The useful question is which gaps you can live with.

Where the two products differ most

Start with the unit of pricing. Moovs' pricing page lists Standard at $149 a month for 2 to 10 vehicles, Pro at $199 for 11 to 20, and Enterprise from $999 for 20 or more, with a $299 setup fee on Standard and Pro and a free plan capped at 10 rides a month. liverybook prices per office seat and never counts vehicles or drivers, so a 30-car fleet with three office logins pays for three seats. The two models cross over: a small office with a big fleet is cheaper on liverybook, and a big office with a small fleet is cheaper on Moovs. The numbers are on /pricing.

Next is what the subscription includes. Moovs sells a driver app, chat and SMS, automated notifications, an embeddable booking widget and farm-in and farm-out from Standard up, all on one page. CRM is listed as an add-on to talk to sales about, a custom API is Enterprise only, and the branded passenger app is an add-on at $499 a month with a $1,000 setup fee. liverybook includes the lead pipeline, proposals, account health, rate groups with seasonal schedules, invoices built from completed legs, and a scoped REST API with webhooks on Professional. There is no SMS and no driver app.

Farm-out works differently in each. Moovs documents farming out to affiliates on Moovs and to external affiliates, connects to the GNet network, and says that when both sides are on Moovs a change updates for everyone involved. liverybook keeps an affiliate roster with tier, approval status and insurance expiry, computes a compliance status, alerts at 60, 30 and 7 days, and refuses to assign a trip to a blocked or expired affiliate. The affiliate's driver gets a tokenised link to move the trip from en route to completed and cannot cancel or mark a no-show. If your farm-out volume is high and your insurance file matters to corporate accounts, that compliance gate is the difference.

The booking portal is the last big one. Moovs gives every plan a customer booking link and, from Standard, a widget or iframe you add to your own site, with custom domain setup documented for the Moovs website. liverybook's customer portal runs at your own subdomain with your logo and colours, a four-step wizard, round trips, multiple vehicles, seasonal rates from your default rate group, guest checkout and loyalty points, and a guest booking is attached to the account when the passenger later registers.

Multi-city work is a smaller point that matters to a few operators. Every liverybook leg displays in its pickup location's timezone, so a DCA to LAX itinerary shows ET on the East Coast legs and PT in Los Angeles. Moovs' public pages do not describe how it handles this, so ask them if it applies to you.

What liverybook does not have yet

Moovs includes a driver app on iOS and Android with real-time GPS tracking, Moovs Chat and SMS with automated trip notifications on Standard and above, and instant card payments into your bank account. liverybook has none of these today. The driver mobile app, SMS, push notifications and Stripe Connect are on the roadmap; until the driver app ships, dispatchers set your own drivers' statuses from the run board and there is no live vehicle tracking. Card collection works through Stripe in the operator app and the portal checkout, but payouts to your bank are not yet automated through Connect.

Moovs also lets you start on a free plan today. liverybook tenants are created by liverybook, so the path in is a demo. liverybook is the younger product, and its public surface is narrower than a vendor that reports over a thousand businesses on its homepage.

Switching

If you are leaving Moovs you are not escaping a per-trip fee, so the reasons are usually one ledger for CRM and billing, the affiliate compliance gate, or seat pricing for a large fleet with a small office. The guide to switching from per-trip software still applies for the export and parallel-run steps. Pricing has the seat tiers, and a demo will show your own trips on the run board.

liverybook or Moovs?

Is liverybook cheaper than Moovs?

It depends on seats. A single-seat office under 500 trips a month is $49 on liverybook Starter against Moovs Standard at $149 with a $299 setup fee; a five-seat office running 2,000 trips is $445 a month on Professional against Moovs Pro at $199, so Moovs is cheaper once the office grows but the vehicle count stays small.

Does Moovs charge per trip?

No. Its pricing page states it is a flat monthly subscription regardless of how many trips you run, though the Free plan is capped at 10 rides a month.

Does liverybook have a driver app like Moovs?

Not yet. Moovs includes a driver app on every plan; liverybook's driver app is on the roadmap, and today dispatchers set driver status from the run board while affiliate drivers update status through a tokenised link.

Can both products farm out trips?

Yes. Moovs supports farm-in and farm-out on Standard and above, to affiliates on or off Moovs; liverybook farms to your own approved affiliates and blocks assignment when their insurance has lapsed.
