Account health

Updated

Account health is a single number that says whether a client is worth worrying about. An account that booked 40 trips last quarter and 12 this quarter is unhealthy even though it is still paying. One that pays at Net 60 on Net 30 terms is unhealthy even though the volume is steady. The score pulls those signals into one place.

For an operator the value is early warning. Corporate accounts rarely leave with an announcement; they leave by booking a little less each month until the travel manager has moved on and the new one has a different vendor. The accounts most likely to go quiet are also the ones nobody is calling, because they are not causing trouble.

The common mistake is measuring health by revenue alone. Revenue lags. By the time the monthly invoice is noticeably smaller, the decline has been running for a quarter. Trend, recency and payment behaviour catch it sooner.

How liverybook handles it

Each CRM account carries an account health score that is recomputed nightly from the account's booking and billing activity. The score sits alongside the lead pipeline and proposals in the CRM, so an account manager can create a task or start a sequence when a score drops, and the AR aging report shows the payment side of the same picture.
